Club 4X4 Review – Russell Opermann

Several years ago I swapped my insurance to Club 4X4 from my long time insurers when the value of the modifications and accessories on my GU Patrol began to far exceed the amount they would insure it for.

After much research and many quotes, Club 4X4 came out way in front, not only for value for money but what they would actually cover. They were the only ones to cover what it would actually cost me to build my truck the same as it is now should the worst happen. With many big trips to remote areas planned, their off road cover was second to none.

Unfortunately I recently had to make a claim when my father crashed my pride and joy. It was as painless as an insurance claim can be. Being an interstate truckie, I don’t have a lot of spare time so when a couple of phone calls and a few emails was all it took, it was a big relief.

I would highly recommend anyone who loves their 4X4 and going off-road to seriously consider Club 4X4.

Cheers, Russell Oppermann

The Golden Rules of Off-Road Towing

Off-road towing puts big loads through every part of your vehicle, and if the setup isn’t right, things can unravel quickly. Broken components, poor control, and near-miss moments usually come back to the same few fundamentals. Get those right, and towing in the bush becomes predictable, controlled, and far more enjoyable.
