I recently had a very unhappy experience with the previous specialist insurer of my 4WD when I furnished a claim for damage I incurred whilst driving in a remote location.

I actively sought a new insurer that was attune to the needs of 4WD enthusiasts and off road travel . I have a modified twin cab 80 series landcruiser and most other insurance companies would not insure it. I found Club 4×4 and gave them a ring.

I was fortunate to speak with Graeme who was outstanding and more than happy to discuss the company and its policy for 4WD drive enthusiasts. The premium was competitive and they were happy to insure my modified vehicle and its long list of accessories. I changed. Graeme also discussed insurance for my off road Kimberley Karavan and with a very competitive premium from Club 4×4 I also changed.

Thanks Club 4×4.

Regards

John Harvey

Best LandCruiser Engine in 2026: Which One is Right for You?

The LandCruiser name has been earned the hard way, forged across Australia’s harshest tracks and most remote country. While the badge gets the recognition, it’s the engines that built the legacy. The best choice comes down to how you use your 4WD, whether that’s crossing the Simpson, towing a van up the coast, or running a reliable daily that’s ready for the weekend.
