Club 4X4 Claims – Off-Road Recovery Cover: Myrna & Phil Chandler

We were staying in Broome and decided to go up to Cape Levique. We were having a great day, just doing normal things, nothing outrageous. We had done some beach driving in low range and when I tried to select high range, the car would not go into high range.

We were staying in Broome and decided to go up to Cape Levique. We were having a great day, just doing normal things, nothing outrageous. We had done some beach driving in low range and when I tried to select high range, the car would not go into high range.

I contacted a workshop in Broome and they recommended that I not drive the distance in low range, for fear of damaging the transmission.

They arranged a tow truck. It was a long job along the infamous Cape Levique Rd. I had no option.

But I did have an option when I changed my insurer earlier this year and that was to have great cover for my vehicle plus an agreed value which included all the other stuff we put on our vehicles.

I also opted for recovery insurance.

When I contacted Club 4X4 the process was easy, they took all the details of the situation, told me a couple of things I needed to do. All this was confirmed by email. After I returned the required information the claim was settled in about ten days and paid into my bank in the next five working days.

Great service from Go to Whoa

Thanks and regards

Phil
