If you are after an insurance company that understands 4WDs and is aware that many are used for the job designed so expect them to be well modified. Here is the place.

My previous company accepted my profession lift for my vehicle, when it came to having stronger and safer break lines which were Australian approved they said no. Even though break lines are wear and tear items. They had no common sense. If you raise a vehicle original break lines become a lot shorter. So I had longer braided ones fitted. Then my problems started with my old insurance company. (Toyota Insurance). Even the company admitting that they had accepted my Steinbeur Torque Chip (that was on a switch for off-road towing) was not approved and at my next renewal they will not be insuring me. Happy to take your money and then play dumb later if I had a claim. I always informed them before and after to every modification apart from the break lines at that point.

Club 4×4 were there for me when needed to change. I sent them a full itemised list of modification and photos of my vehicle. Easy as that and now covered.
Many 4×4 enthusiasts are all car lovers who take pride in their vehicles. Sure we take them to their limits while off-road. But you know it needs looked after 100% as it’s also my daily ride. I drive a top of the range Prado 150 Kakadu with over $20000 of modifications.

What’s your ride?
