Camp Kitchen: Rocky Road

This recipe is a great one to do with children and is bound to satisfy post-dinner (or midday) dessert cravings. Word of warning, though: this dish is extremely delicious and will leave you wanting more.

Ingredients

  • ½ bag marshmallows
  • 1 bag mixed Allens lollies
  • 200g dark chocolate bits
  • ½ packet Milk Arrowroot biscuits
  • 100g peanuts
  • Butter to grease tin

Cookware needed

  • Campfire 9 Quart camp oven
  • Baking tin

Method

  1. Grease cake tin with butter
  2. Chop all lollies in to small pieces
  3. Crush biscuits for a thin base, add lollies and marshmallows. Mix well together in a bowl
  4. Stir through dark chocolate bits and peanuts
  5. Add mixture to cake tin, then place tin inside the camp oven. Bake over coals until golden brown
  6. Cooking time 15 to 20 minutes.
