A number of weeks ago I was lucky enough to get out with the Off-road Adventure Show for a trip through a place I’ve always wanted to visit – Yengo National Park. After meandering through the park, stopping to check out the beautiful views from some of the lookouts and even admire some of the Aboriginal artwork in the region, we then hit TJ’s 4X4 Park.

Checking out Yango National Park

We ended up covering off one of the hard tracks there – Jackhammer Loop, and despite having the least modified 4X4 there (an Everest with just a 2 inch lift), I managed to drive the track, choosing to winch in one spot rather than bounce the vehicle over some tough terrain and risking damage. Most people would be impressed with what the Everest handled!

2025 Toyota LandCruiser Prado Review — Australia’s Updated Large SUV Legend

For many Australians, the Prado has long been the bridge between rugged, light-truck LandCruisers and family-friendly SUVs. It’s the vehicle that does school runs Monday to Friday, then hauls a camper trailer into the bush on the weekend. It’s trusted, familiar and deeply woven into Australia’s touring and towing culture.
