Life is full of challenges, like finding time to take time out with your family. The beautiful Nova Signature Escape Signature Series caravan has seven layouts that all offer plenty of options to suit every wandering clan. With Nova the family comes first!
This Signature Series 20-8C is a wonderful combination of strength, ability, premium mobile accommodation and appealing aesthetics. With a length of 6.76 metres plus tonnes of head height there’s a genuine feel of internal spaciousness. This family van is an extremely well constructed for all touring eventualities and when you arrive at that perfect campsite provides all the comforts of home – and perhaps more!
Starting with solid foundations the Nova features a strong 6” chassis and A-frame. All of the plumbing, welding and electrical work is superbly manufactured and well shrouded to avoid any trouble on the road. She rides on tandem rocker suspension with 16” wheels and tyres offering lofty ground clearance with surprisingly good entry and departure angles for a van of its dimensions. Plus there’s the added safety of AL-KO ESC. There’s all the traditional drawbar and towing components including twin 9kg gas bottles plus a mesh infill in the A-frame that’s handy for soiled, wet or muddy apparel, or added external storage.
Underneath are twin 95 litre water tanks plus a grey water tank. You will find plenty of charge from the 2 x 105Amp batteries, securely mounted under the chassis. You can top up the charge with traditional 240 volt inlets, via the Anderson Plug vehicle connection, or the twin 170W Solar panels with regulator and DC to DC charger. Nova’s Family Escape Signature Series caravans feature their Pro-Al composite aluminium and insulated foam sandwich forming a protective cocoon to keep the heat out or the warmth in, whatever your location. It features one piece fibreglass construction for roof and walls with no water ingress throughout its long life expectancy.
The external walls have attractive decals in your choice of colours, gun metal checker plate surrounds, tinted, double glazed Euro style windows with sliding awnings and flyscreens. There’s a reversing camera, spare wheel on a strong bumper, roof mounted air conditioner and wind up TV aerial, external 240V, 12V and TV point, gas bayonet, a strong security door with illuminated handle and a pair of booming speakers to set the mood from the CD/ stereo with Bluetooth. Simply roll out the awning for camping in comfort and when night falls set the mood inside and out with a terrific array of LED lighting.
Step inside to find a world of luxury. The colours, finishes, textures and selection of appliances and accessories are exceptionally inviting, as is the layout. This Signature Series has forward entry leading directly to the island style Queen bed up front with loads of storage under plus plenty of wardrobe, drawer and cabinetry including nick-knack nooks and reading lights.
Next is a comfortable café style dinette on the kerb side with beautifully upholstered seating (leather optional) and a fully adjustable table. Opposite we find a comprehensive kitchen complete with 4 burner stove (three gas, one electric) with grill and oven. Overhead is a range hood and microwave with a large window above the stainless steel sink and preparation area giving plenty of natural light. I really liked the laminate insert on the top of the stove that serves to create both attractive and functional bench space, plus there’s a reasonable array of metal drawers and utility storage. The kitchen is completed with a 184L SES Thetford fridge/freezer to keep the gang fed and refreshed.
The features continue to the rear with good sized double bunks. I’m a big bloke and would be happy to sleep in the lower unit but it takes a kid, or teenager to climb up top and you can even opt up for three bunks for larger families. There’s even more storage under the lower bunk and floor to ceiling wardrobe and cabinets on the rear wall.
Opposite is a lovely ensuite with an individually enclosed fully molded shower plus the vanity with dressing mirror and toilet. The ensuite is compact and yet still very people friendly for we larger adults.
Overhead the single span roof section has a variety of hatches and vents for good air flow throughout plus a pair of Sirocco fans for circulation, the low line air conditioner and a selection of mood lighting. This is all completed by a terrific array of insulated windows to suit all climatic conditions.
This Family Escape has a smart selection of electronics with twin 105ah batteries for storage plus the solar and external supplies powering RV Wi-Fi, 24” Smart TV, the CD/ Bluetooth sound system and lighting options all carefully controlled by a power management system. A major feature is the fully accessible wiring that makes easy fault finding for the future. There’s also a gas/electric hot water system for added versatility.
Nova supply a full range of options for individual demands including washing machine, bedding, suspension and chassis, bike racks, AL-KO ATS and even a pet grooming pack for your beloved fur baby.
