Club 4X4 is going to be filming some new television and online content very soon, and we want YOU to star in it. We are looking for customers that want to share their Club 4X4 story with Australia. Whether it is why you joined, what attracted you to Club 4X4, or talking about a claim you had with us, we want to hear from you.

Requirements

  • You must be an existing policy holder (obvious, but this is important)
  • You must be available during the first week of November for a minimum of two full days
  • Your 4WD must be in working order and available for the weekend and you must be prepared to drive off road (no specific mods / capability required)
  • You must be prepared to be filmed over the course of the off road weekend, including talking direct to camera on a few occasions telling your Club 4X4 story.
  • You must be in NSW during these dates. While we will provide reimbursement for fuel, we can’t do so for any travel from outside of NSW.

What’s in it for you?

  • Several days away off roading with us in a private and stunning location in NSW (could be weekday or weekend)
  • Some professional shots of you out and about in your rig,
  • An awesome prize pack, including a range of cool stuff and a significant discount on your insurance.

We’ll also cover any fuel related expenses over the weekend (excluding travel from interstate).

How do you get involved?

Film a short video (2 min or less) introducing yourself, showing off your awesome rig (Four Wheel Drive that is!), and telling us either about your claims experience (it must have been with Club 4X4), or why you chose to insure with us. We are not looking for anything polished or professional, simply whatever you can capture on your mobile phone in a few minutes.

Click here to enter and upload your video (must be less than 64MB)

Please also confirm your availability over that period in your message to us.

Get filming!

The Golden Rules of Off-Road Towing

Off-road towing puts big loads through every part of your vehicle, and if the setup isn’t right, things can unravel quickly. Broken components, poor control, and near-miss moments usually come back to the same few fundamentals. Get those right, and towing in the bush becomes predictable, controlled, and far more enjoyable.

Planning Fuel Stops for Remote Area Travel

Fuel planning for remote travel doesn’t need to be complicated, but it does need to be conservative. It’s about understanding your real-world consumption, knowing how far you can comfortably travel, allowing a buffer, and choosing fuel-carrying solutions that are simple and easy to live with.
