Four-wheel-drive enthusiasts are set to be better supported, following an upcoming change to the financial services licence that Club 4X4 operates under.

KEY POINTS:

  • Club 4X4 will become an Authorised Representative of Lifestyle Insurance Group Pty Ltd from July 1, 2022
  • The change empowers Club 4X4 to grow and further tailor policies
  • There is no material change for policyholders of Australia’s best 4X4 cover

The change from July 1, 2022 in the Australia Financial Services Licensee that Club 4X4 acts on behalf of will secure a robust platform for Club 4X4’s growth, developing the brand’s core value of delivering lifestyle-oriented policies, tailored to suit 4X4 enthusiasts.

Club 4X4’s General Manager, Kalen Ziflian, said the AFSL change is exciting for both the brand and members.

“Club 4X4 is our flagship, and there is a sense with this change that we now have more control of our destiny. It’s exciting for us and our community,” said Mr Ziflian.

“For us, it means an opportunity to grow, our way. Club 4X4 was founded to fill a gap with industry-leading off-road cover that recognises the true value of modifications and accessories as an essential part of the 4X4 lifestyle. This shift means we are empowered to further mould and individualize insurance products to meet the real needs of the next big adventure.”

“What does it mean for policy holders? Well, there is no change to your current insurance as the dependable, honest, go-anywhere insurance products that you know and love are here to stay, but Club 4X4 will be better positioned to continue improving on what we believe to be the best 4X4 cover in Australia.”

“We’re taking genuine ownership of developing niche solutions that just ‘get’ our customers, no matter where they get to,” he said.
