Thank you to the team at Club 4X4 for finally providing me with the option to properly cover our Isuzu D-Max
As a regular off-road traveller, it gives me great comfort that I can have all my modifications and accessories covered – yep, the whole $50,608.00 of them – all added to the value of the Isuzu D-Max for a total sum insured of $80,008.00
Knowing I don’t have to second guess how I’d get recovered if I broke down off-road because of your off road recovery cover also means I can tour with total confidence.
Thanks to the team for the great product and service!

does it cover mechanical failings (as in timing chain, or fuel pump ).

Hi William,
Unfortunately not – these are wear and tear items and are not covered in any motor policy in Australia.
Cheers

G’day Kalen,
If I break down due to mechanical failure in the middle of the Simpson Desert will my 15k Club 4×4 recovery cover pay for my recovery? Just a bit confused with the above post. Obviously I would be liable to get the vehicle repaired, it is more about the recovery sode of things? Cheers Nigel

G’day Nigel,
Absolutely. The point of this coverage is very much to reimburse you the costs of your recovery where you’re broken down or bogged somewhere where your traditional roadside assistance cover will not recover you from.
Cheers
Kal
Cheers Kalen, thanks for the clarification:-)

no worries Nigel.
that is the problem of worrying about wear and tear when stranded in the out back , it might not be the driver but the 4×4 living up 2 the conditions on what percussions you take to prevent . I do want to do the out back in time it just the worry about breaking down and getting help , and again the cost involved .
